Greven travel guitar
SOLD!
Why compromise tone for portability? Imagine a guitar which you can carry on a plane, yet sounds just like a proper guitar.... now imagine no more neck resets, and an ability to change the action on the fly.
The Greven Travel Guitar is what you're imagining! A detactable neck allows this guitar to go from an O sized tone monster into a case with a footprint of 17" x 23" x 6". This system involves only 1 bolt and with a pinless bridge, you can go from cased to playing in 3 minutes.

John Greven says: "This 12 fret guitar easily competes with much larger bodied guitars for volume and tone quality. It is not necessary to make a choice between sound and portability. The sound is much bigger than one would expect, very articulate and sustaining. It is particularly good in the mids and highs with a nicely balanced bottom end."
Terence says: " I ordered this guitar because I was fed up with all the travel guitars which I had previously tried; most of them could be carried on board an airplane, but were still very conspicuous and rather bulky. Even worse is that the tone is often boxy, and sound muted and constrained. I approached John Greven to build a travel guitar which could be carry on luggage yet sound like a real guitar. We agreed on a detactable neck and pinless bridge system. This is the result of that discussion; an O size guitar with a small boxed footprint. As an added bonus, the neck system means that neck resets are a thing of the past and it is now possible to adjust the action on the fly with a small turn of the bolt. The ideal solution for the travelling player who doesn't want to compromise sound for portability, it is also a great guitar in it's own right!"
